Welcome
Thanks for coming to the blog, what did you think of the recipe of the week?
I was at Ms. Boones office this afternoon finalizing appointment for lapband surgery next week and she gave me this blogsite to come to to get a copy of The Surgeon's Cookbook. Please let me know how I can obtain my copy. The recipes in the book looked very good as does the Black Bean Soup!! Can't wait to get the surgery out of the way and be able to try some of them.
I gave my mother the recipe for bean soup. She made some this morning and sent a container home with me. It smelled so good. I could hardly wait to try it. Let me tell you... it did not let me down. SO DELICIOUS!! If I knew a restaurant had this soup on its menu, I would be ordering it!! Dr. McPhee... you have a winner with this recipe. Everyone, get the ingredients and make it. Yummmy! I was afraid that I would be eating bland food after surgery. Not so! Mother and I will be trying more recipes. Bravo Dr. McPhee!
Had a great time at the support group, hopefully will get the bugs out of the blog pretty soon.
